MDS Basics

Summary of course: This full-day, in-person course is designed for those new to the MDS who need a basic understanding of the manual and assessments.  It is designed to provide instructions on the most current CMS guidelines.  The course will address timing and scheduling of assessments and an overview of each section from Chapter 3.  It will also include pertinent updates and changes, as it is imperative that staff completing the MDS understand the guidelines and regulations.

Who Should Attend: All disciplines who are either new to or desire an in-depth review of the MDS 3.0 completion process

CEU Info: This full-day course qualifies for up to 5.5 CEUs.

Registration Fee Info: Members of LAIN, HOPE, INALA, and IHPCO pay $99. Non-members pay $135. (LAIN and HOPE Samaritan Alliance members pay $50. INALA Samaritan Alliance members pay $74.)

Minimum Enrollment Requirement: A minimum enrollment of 6 is required to hold this course. Determination that minimum enrollment is met will be made on 3/13/2020.
