What you should know about Informal Dispute Resolution…Ever disagreed with an ISDH survey decision? Considered taking advantage of Informal Dispute Resolution (IDR) and weren’t sure whether it was worth your time? Suzanne Williams, R.N. is the Director of the IDR program at ISDH. She will join us to share statistics about the program, explain the IDR process and share some thoughts on how to best represent your community during an IDR. We’ll also use this time to talk about assisted living deficiency citations and changes over the past few years. This session will be helpful for licensed residential and comprehensive care facilities!
Speaker: Suzanne Williams, R.N.

Legislative Update: As of April 11th, the Indiana General Assembly will be days from the end of session. Hear from your experienced team of advocates about what passed, what didn’t pass and what is still “too close to call.” Expect a discussion of the QMA Scope of Practice bill, the reasons for it and how we think it could be implemented; the changes proposed to Indiana’s administrative law system; our response to Southeastrans issues; the threat of managed care; the state budget and other issues that arise as the session winds down.
Speakers: Mike Rinebold, Liz Carroll, Terry Miller, Becky Bartle
