Have you Contributed to the LeadingAge Indiana Political Action Committee (LAIPAC)?

As you know, 501(c)3 non-profit organizations are disadvantaged in the fact the law does not allow them to make corporate contributions to state or federal election campaigns or PACs. BUT, as an employee, you can make personal campaign and/or political action committee contributions.

Many bills regulating education, nursing, operations, reform, etc., come before state and federal officials each year with backing by interest groups who may or may not be aligned with LeadingAge Indiana members’ needs. Communication with our elected officials, providing them the education and background they need on our issues, has an important impact on the language included in legislation and how it applies to us. Funds collected by LAIPAC are used to support candidates who are sympathetic to and have a clear understanding of our needs.
