Friends Fellowship Community, a Quaker faith-based Continuing Care Retirement Community is seeking an individual to serve as its President/Executive Director. In this role, you will contribute to the vitality and growth of our community, overseeing the health and wellness of our residents while assuring compliance with all federal, state, and local laws.

**Key Qualifications**

• Bachelor’s degree required.

• Active Indiana Administrator license.

• At least five years of experience in a Continuing Care Retirement Community (CCRC) or life plan community.

• Ability and willingness to live in or near Richmond, Indiana, and to be an active member of the community.

• Appreciation for the Friends (Quaker) faith and tradition.

• Proven organizational, leadership, management, supervision, and problem-solving skills.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Team player, consensus builder, and cooperative.

• Displays sound judgment, discretion, tact, fairness, initiative, integrity, responsibility, and trustworthiness.

• Demonstrates patience, consideration, understanding, and empathy for others.

• Exemplifies a servant leadership posture, reflecting the values of our organization.





**Essential Functions**

• Full-time licensed Indiana Health Facility Administrator of record for the facility.

• Responsibility for the ordinary and usual business operations under the Board of Trustees.

• Attend, plan, organize, and assist in all Board meetings and report on service and financial activities.

• Oversee daily business affairs and sound practices in purchasing, financial operations, budgeting, and investments.

• Oversee personnel planning, recruitment, selection, and management of Community employees.

• Ensure compliance with health facilities rules and regulations.

• Oversee the establishment of written policy manuals for resident care and facility operations.

• Promptly arrange for health care services as prescribed by attending physicians.

• Responsible for census development and retention, and major improvements and expansions of facility.

• Attend and represent the organization at meetings and hearings of public boards, councils, and agencies.
