Course Information
The importance of complete and accurate ICD-10-CM diagnosis coding cannot be overemphasized. All coders and those associated with assigning diagnosis codes must be trained on the requirements, instructions, and guidelines.
Objective
Participants will understand how to accurately assign codes, apply coding conventions, and be updated to the NEW Official Guidelines and diagnosis codes for 2026. This course is designed for all levels of coders, including those new to ICD-10-CM coding, who have never been formally trained, or need a refresher. Billers, therapists, and other staff that are part of the facility's team that assigns and/or reviews ICD-10-CM diagnosis codes should attend.
Participants must bring a current ICD-10-CM book. New training examples will be provided to enhance understanding and application of the diagnosis codes.
