We are seeking a dedicated and organized Registered Nurse (RN) to serve as our Staff Development Coordinator. This role is responsible for planning, coordinating, and delivering staff education programs that support regulatory compliance, clinical excellence, and quality resident care across our community.
Conduct educational needs assessments and assist with annual facility assessments.
Develop and maintain staff education and training plans.
Coordinate new employee orientation and ongoing training programs.
Track training attendance and completion to ensure compliance.
Develop, review, and update educational content to reflect current standards of practice and facility policies.
Collaborate with leadership and department managers to establish and evaluate staff competencies.
Maintain training records, continuing education documentation, and compliance reports.
Coordinate continuing education opportunities for staff.
Schedule educational programs with minimal disruption to resident care.
Current RN license in good standing.
Graduate of an accredited RN program; Bachelor's degree preferred.
Minimum of two years of nursing experience.
BLS Certification required.
Knowledge of long-term care regulations, standards of practice, and staff education principles.
Strong communication, organization, and teaching skills.
