The LeadingAge Indiana Awards Presentation occurs each year at the Spring Conference in May. Award nominations open up at the beginning of the year, and nominations are accepted through the end of March.

Community Impact Award
Recognizes the organization that goes beyond its health service or housing role to support and/or improve the greater community.
Volunteer of the Year (resident)
Recognizes the value of the resident volunteer in the life of the organization.
Community Volunteer of the Year (non-resident)
Recognizes the value of the volunteer from the community in the life of the organization.
Recognizes the employee who has demonstrated an exceptional passion for aging services from the very beginning of their employment, and has worked in long-term care for less than 3 years.
Outstanding Leadership - Management
Recognizes the management level employee who provides excellent leadership to enhance the workplace and the quality of life for the residents.
Outstanding Leadership - Non-management
Recognizes the non-management level employee who provides excellent service to enhance the workplace and the quality of life for the residents.
Board Member/Trustee of the Year
Recognizes the voluntary leader who has served with distinction on the board of LeadingAge Indiana not-for-profit member organizations.
The Linda Woolley Excellence in Nursing Leadership Award
Recognizes the nursing professional who demonstrates good mentoring relationships, enabling others to act proactively in the care of the residents.
- Clinical excellence in long-term care nursing.
- Leadership in long-term care nursing.
- Commitment to the profession of long-term care nursing.
Associate Member of the Year
Recognizes the Associate Member whose contributions have positively affected LeadingAge Indiana. This award may be presented to a company or an individual. The contribution(s) can be the result of creativity, innovation and commitment of resources. Self-nominations are welcomed.
LeadingAge Indiana reserves the right to move a nomination to another category.
LeadingAge Indiana reserves the right to not present an award category.
Winners will remain confidential until the awards luncheon at the Spring Conference on May 7, 2019.
All nominees are recognized at the awards luncheon.
Members are encouraged to resubmit non-winning nominations from previous years.
