MDS 3.0 Basics

This course is designed for those new to the MDS who need a basic understanding of the manual and assessments.  It is designed to provide instructions on the most current CMS guidelines.  The course will address timing and scheduling of assessments and an overview of each section from Chapter 3.  It will also include pertinent updates and changes, as it is imperative that staff completing the MDS understand the guidelines and regulations.


Who Should Attend?

All disciplines who are either new to the MDS 3.0 completion process or who desire an in-depth review of the latest CMS guidelines for completing the MDS 3.0.


Fee Information

  • Members (LeadingAge Indiana, INALA, HOPE) = $99 ($50 if also a Samaritan Alliance member)
  • Samaritan Alliance member only = $86
  • Non-member = $135


CEU Information

This full-day course qualifies for 5.5 CEUs.
